The Nature Trails Method has been used for many years as a traditional outdoor learning method, typically ideal for summer and spring weather. But we are here to help you now use this as a teaching tool to get your curriculum outside. This involves a series of clues that need to be followed to eventually get to the answer.
For example, the children are learning about the environment in Geography and the names of things. The teacher has attached a label to random items outside such as a bench, fence, and tree. The children have to find all six clues read the challenge and answer it. The first letter from each answer then makes up the final word they need to win the hunt.
