With a previous background in children’s TV, Sarah Seaman has been a teacher for 12 years and had various roles from maths coordinator, assistant head to the outdoor coordinator. Also a Muddy Puddle Mum to Sienna and Florence. Sarah, who is also dyslexic, created The Muddy Puddle Teacher as a response to her own learning difficulties and seeing others lose that love for learning. Sarah who now has one degree, a PGCE and MA in Education blames stale, seats-in-bottoms teaching methods for not providing a rich enough learning experience for all children.
‘Our job is to give them a love for learning, once that is achieved, our job is done!’ Sarah Seaman, 2019.
