phase two phonics nature posters

Phase Two Phonics Nature Posters

Use these phase two phonics nature posters to get more authentic and in context pictures for children to relate their phonics to. Often children have lots of colourful pictures, which may be hard to translate for some children. Using nature to guide us, we give each sound of the phase two phonics with a corresponding picture. Display them inside or out.

We have a whole scheme of work for phase two, find the full planning unit in our phonics hub

Here are some top tips to get phonics outside!

  1. Use leaves as paper
  2. Use rocks to display your tricky words on
  3. Keep the children active by playing games and having fun!
