BIG Nature Method

The BIG Nature Method is an art-based method that encourages children to represent their learning by working as a class and team to achieve a representation of this through natural art.  For those of you in the UK, think ‘Art Attack”, BIG 2D flat art. An example could be that in Geography the children are learning about countries.  The children make a giant circle using sticks and then make countries using the leaves.  Guided all together, telling each other what looks right and what doesn’t.  Certain children stand on those leaves offering the characteristics of that country such as penguins in the South Pole.
