Take a look at the fabulous Boothroyd Primary and how their achieving outdoor excellence to help better support the children they have. The school is based in Leeds and is a very deprived area with many children who do not complete entire schooling to Year 6 through to various reasons.
The school decided that these children needed experiences, care and nurture, and an active curriculum if they were going to improve the children’s academic abilities. But more so, it was all about giving them happy moments and memories.
The school has a well-being double-decker bus, school farm, continuous provision up to KS1, a caravan, eco-house.
