What is included in my Silver Membership?
Your Silver Membership gives you access to The Muddy Puddle Teacher® resource library and advice hub.
This includes downloadable outdoor learning resources, lesson ideas, activity packs, planning support, blogs, podcasts and videos for Early Years, KS1, KS2, SEND and home education.
New resources and guidance are added regularly, so it is worth checking back often.
Are online courses included in the Silver Membership?
Online professional development courses are not included in the Silver Membership.
To access our collection of online courses, you will need to upgrade to the Gold Membership.
Gold Membership is ideal for educators who would like to develop their knowledge through flexible, self-paced online courses alongside accessing our resources and advice.

What if I want accredited outdoor learning training?
Our accredited outdoor learning training is available through the Ultimate Membership.
Ultimate Membership gives you access to our complete online training collection, including the different stages of The Muddy Puddle Teacher® accredited outdoor learning training pathway.
This is the best option for educators who want to build their professional knowledge, gain certificates and work towards becoming a more confident and skilled outdoor learning practitioner.

Silver Membership gives you access to our outdoor learning resources, blogs, podcasts, videos and practical guidance.
Gold Membership includes everything in Silver, as well as access to our online professional development courses.
Ultimate Membership includes everything in Silver and Gold, alongside our accredited outdoor learning training and complete online training collection.

Can I upgrade my membership at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade your membership whenever you are ready.
You do not need to wait until the end of your current membership period. Once your upgrade has been completed, your additional courses or training should become available through your account.
Can I return to Silver after upgrading?
You can change, pause or cancel your membership according to the terms of your subscription.
Your training progress will be saved, allowing you to return to your professional development at a later date if needed.
Where can I find the resources included in Silver?
You can access your resources through the membership area of The Muddy Puddle Teacher® website.
Resources are organised by age group, curriculum area and topic to help you find suitable activities quickly.

You can choose resources that suit the age, ability and needs of the children you work with.
Do I need access to a woodland or large outdoor space?
No. The Muddy Puddle Teacher® approach is designed to work in real educational settings.
You can use the resources in playgrounds, yards, gardens, school fields, concrete spaces and local outdoor areas.
You do not need a forest, expensive equipment or a purpose-built outdoor classroom.
Do I need to be Forest School trained?
No. You do not need a Forest School qualification to use our Silver Membership resources.
The Muddy Puddle Teacher® approach focuses on helping educators take curriculum learning, focused teaching and purposeful play outdoors using their existing spaces and resources.
Can I use the resources with my whole class?
Yes. Many of our resources are designed for whole-class teaching, groups, continuous provision or targeted support.
You may need to adapt some activities depending on the number of children, their ages, additional needs and the outdoor space available.
Can I share the resources with other staff members?
Resources may be used according to the licence attached to your membership.
A personal membership is intended for the named member. Schools, nurseries or organisations that want several staff members to access the materials should ensure they have the appropriate organisational membership or licence.
Resources must not be shared publicly, uploaded to other websites, resold or distributed outside the terms of your membership.
Can I print the resources?
Yes. You can download and print the resources included in your membership for your permitted educational use.
You can also save resources to your device while your membership is active, subject to the membership terms and resource licence.
How often are new resources added?
We regularly add new resources, activity ideas, articles, podcasts and videos.
New content may be linked to curriculum subjects, seasons, celebrations, outdoor play, SEND, wellbeing and current areas of interest in education.
Do Silver members receive certificates?
Certificates are generally linked to the completion of eligible online courses or accredited training.
As these are available through the Gold and Ultimate memberships, Silver Membership does not usually include training certificates.
Upgrade to Gold for online courses or Ultimate for accredited outdoor learning training.
I cannot access a resource. What should I do?
First, check that you are signed in using the email address connected to your membership.
You can also try refreshing the page, signing out and signing back in, or opening the website in a different browser.
If the problem continues, please contact The Muddy Puddle Teacher® team with the name of the resource and the email address linked to your account.
Which membership is right for me?
Choose Silver if you mainly want practical resources, activity ideas, blogs, podcasts and videos.
Choose Gold if you would also like access to online professional development courses.
Choose Ultimate if you want the complete training experience, including accredited outdoor learning training.
