Owner and founder Sarah Seaman has been a teacher for 12 years and has worked in various schools across Sheffield and Derbyshire. Sarah has been an assistant head, SENCO, Maths coordinator, Computing Coordinator, Level 3 Forest School Leader, Outdoor Learning Coordinator. In 2019 Sarah left class based teaching to undergo a major project in developing a new way of sustainable, interactive teaching using the outdoors as her platform . Sarah, who is dyslexic, wanted to make education more accessible to all learner types and her time developing this approach proved to her this is the future of how we teach our children. With children inside and on technology more than ever, this approach has never been so relevant. The Muddy Puddle Teacher was then launched in April 2019 and she has not looked back. Sarah, mum of two, trains schools up and down the UK on her approach and now also offers an extensive range of online resources and courses.
